The location of the hotel feels secure and beautiful. It is close to local towns but also offers privacy. The decor is sleek and clean, and we appreciated the easy instructions for essential amenities. The host was friendly and responsive. Having private access to the garden with the pod was a cute bonus.

For us, it was ideal.

The cottage was conveniently equipped with an electronic keypad for easy access and secure keys. the location was very convenient with quick access to the A14 and nearby areas. the cottage itself was absolutely fabulous, with all the necessary amenities including air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the sweltering heat. the entertainment options were top-notch, with strong Wi-Fi and two TVs, perfect for avoiding arguments over what to watch. the addition of Netflix was a nice touch. the surrounding area offered plenty of beautiful country walks and a great selection of pubs. Couldn't ask for more!

One minor downside was the occasional strong smell from the boiler when standing at the fridge end of the kitchen or by the back door. this was only noticeable to those with a very sensitive nose, and opening a window quickly solved the issue.

The location of the Oaks is perfect for exploring Haughley and the surrounding areas, with easy access to the A14. The cottage is fabulous, with all the amenities you need including A/C, which was a godsend in the heat. The entertainment at the Oaks is excellent, with strong Wi-Fi and two TVs, including Netflix. No arguments over what to watch with the kids! Lots of lovely country walks in a rural setting and a great selection of pubs. Couldn't fault it!
